This fluid, physical practice will focus on finding joy within and contentment with what is. By incorporating heart opening postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama) and energy gateways (bandhas) into the practice, students can find both lightness in the physical body and spiritual grounding. Level 1 students can explore level 2 postures if desired. Posture binds are introduced and longer holds will be encouraged to improve flexibility and maintain a solid focus during practice.

“Whatever I am offered in devotion with a pure heart—a leaf, a flower, fruit or water—I accept with joy.”  ~ Bhagavad Gita

This Hot Yoga class will focus on integrating breath with flowing movement (vinyasa style) as well as breath in stillness. This practice will deepen the flexibility of your muscles and joints, as well as bring strength to your muscles. Join us in this light, soul fueling and loving practice and find exactly what you need within your mind, body, and soul. A perfect follow up class is Katie’s Deep Release!

“All the happiness of this earth does not come from outside things and events, but from deep within us” ~ Bhagavad Gita

“Deep Release Yoga”

Open to All

Sunday, January 29th 12:15-1:30pm

Release stored physical and mental tension in this class through poses that will ease tightness in the lower back, hips, pelvis, and shoulders. Rather than targeting muscle tension, there will be an emphasis on the deepest tissues of the body, such as connective tissues and fascia. Expect to be holding poses for longer durations. Through this deep surrender you will access the natural flow of internal energy, experiencing the vitality allowed upon physical release of stored energy in the body.

“Content with whatever comes by chance, beyond dualities, free from envy, impartial to failure and success, he is not bound even when he acts.” ~  Bhagavad Gita

“Relax YourSelf”

Open to All
Sunday, January 29th  6:00-7:15pm

This class is intended to bring about a sense of peace and relaxation through the use of gentle movement, breathwork and meditation. This practice will heavily rely on the use of bolsters, blankets, blocks and other props to support the body and minimize exertion. Get ready to set your mind and body at ease while you enjoy this truly blissful experience.

Quietly and peacefully, like a constant flame in a windless place, a yogi who controls his mind will remain, in connection with the highest self ~ Bhagavad Gita
