LEVEL 1 – Continuing “Tai Chi Drop In” Program.
I would like to offer a different kind of Tai Chi class: a drop in practice rather than an 8 week series….. It would be a PRACTICE class suitable for anyone that has taken at least the part 1 class. It will still be SUN style gentle Tai Chi. We would gather to practice our Tai Chi, concentrating on improving the continuing flow of energy. But also, I will help with the execution of the forms you already know, as well as adding some new forms from Part 2 driven by the desires of the group.
This is not a series so you can just drop in when the mood strikes. $10 Drop in or Buy 5 and get one free (10 week expiry) for $50.
Cash/check preferred but not necessary.
(Moves to 10:15am in March)

200 RYT training by Master Yogi, Sri Yogi Hari, in Sampoorna Yoga
After completion of my undergraduate degree, I found myself at a crossroads of uncertainty. The decision to take some time for self-reflection and evaluation lead me to deepen my practice and understanding of yoga – an exercise that historically brought me to a greater evaluation of my true nature and my inner self. Over time I began to follow master yogi, Sri Yogi Hari, whose life was changed by the introduction to yoga and naturopathic medicine. Through practicing with and learning from Yogi Hari, I was able to earn my 200HR yoga teacher certification and to pursue a more profound meaning of life. Yogi Hari is of the Swami Sivananda lineage, and developed a practice based on this traditional and holistic approach to yoga. I hope to share this beautiful practice with others, as I too grow and develop as a student and as a teacher. Om shanti ~ Elley

As 2019 comes to a close, we aren’t just completing a year… we are drawing a whole decade into conclusion! At the same time, we are entering into a new year and a new decade. This is the time to do a big release of the old, to synthesize the lessons learned, and set both short term and long term intentions.
This yoga class will systematically relax the body through a series of gentle postures, with a focus on the breath. The postures will both cultivate a sense of release through the body and the mind, and create a sense of spaciousness. This works on the subtle, physciological level to prepare Your whole being.
In the past, we have spent about half the class in guided meditation, and there will be portions of that interlaced throughout. New this year will be the guidance of Yoga Nidra into the session, which works with sankalpa (intention) to create an embodied sense of well-being and accomplishment. We will invite communion with our innermost heart, for the highest good of ourselves, and the highest good of all.
