My heart seeks to provide a class that will meet everyone’s needs. Light stretching will be followed by standing postures that will give you the opportunity to further lengthen your muscles and strengthen your body. Being a” Pot Luck class” if the moment calls to us we will flow in movement. Many hands will be available for suggestions and assists.

““Little by little, through patience and repeated effort, the mind will become stilled in the Self” ~Bhagavad Gita

Open to All

Friday  January 26th,  6:30-7:30pm

Come connect to the light in you! Join us for a sixty- minute gentle class that incorporates mindful movement, practice with breath, and guided meditation.

“Little by little, through patience and repeated effort, the mind will become stilled in the Self” ~Bhagavad Gita

Open to All.  Saturday

January 27th, 8:45- 9:35am

Reconnect to yourSelf.  The breath, or prana, is our life force. Our breath is the one and only constant in our lives, and it connects us to all other living beings. In the practice of pranayama (breath control), we learn to reconnect to all that is around us, and within us. Deepen your own yoga practice by learning about the benefits of several yogic breaths, and practicing pranayama to experience the beauty and wisdom of breath!

“When you move amidst the world of sense, free from attachment and aversion alike, there comes the peace in which all sorrows end, and you live in the wisdom of the Self.” -Bhagavad Gita

Open to All.  Saturday

January 27th,  10:00-10:45am

The potential to bring awareness to capacity within you is a joyful movement. Experience a practice that will encourage your intention and leave you with knowledge that freedom lies within you.

“The meaning of Karma is in the intention. The intention behind action is what matters.” ~ B.Gita

Experience Required.

Saturday, January 27th, 11:15-12:15pm

Hip Releasing Flow. Come enjoy a “hip”notic flow through a series of postures with a focus on the hips. A little hip wisdom will be shared as we journey through a sequence of standing and balancing postures culminating in a final posture. Move. Focus inward. See what’s there.

“Action should culminate in wisdom.” ~Bhagavad Gita

Experienced Only, Sunday

 January 28th, 9:30-10:30am

Note: Your own mat is required for this class – no exceptions can be made.

Join me for an hour of peace in yourself that will carry on to peace in the world. Ahimsa teaches us nonviolence and gentle living to all others. Being compassionate with others helps cultivate compassion within our lives. With a warmer temperature class setting, our body finds more flexibility due to the easier flow of circulation to the limbs. We will find what we need in our Self while being gentle with who we are.

“Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself” ~ Bhagavad-Gita

Open to All, Sunday

January 28th, 11:00-12:00pm

Staying close to the ground, we will release stored physical and mental tension in this class through poses that will ease tightness in the lower back, hips, pelvis, and shoulders. Rather than targeting muscle tension, there will be an emphasis on the deepest tissues of the body, such as connective tissues and fascia. Expect to be holding poses for longer durations. Through this deep surrender you will access the natural flow of internal energy. This class allows you to create as much challenge as you desire.

“When you move amidst the world of sense, free from attachment and aversion alike, there comes the peace in which all sorrows end, and you live in the wisdom of the Self.” ~ The Bhagavad Gita

Experienced Required, Sunday

January 28th, 12:30-1:30pm

A mixed-level yoga class, intended to alleviate the ‘winter blues’ through a series of juicy heart-openers and hamstring-lengthening stretches. Reconnect to the self through a soulful blend of deep, fluid poses.

“Out of compassion I destroy the darkness of their ignorance. From within them I light the lamp of wisdom and dispel all darkness from their lives” ~ Bhagavad Gita

Open to All, Sunday

January 28th, 2:00-3:00pm

Pratyahara is the withdrawing of our senses to get a better view of our internal world. By softening the senses we can bring calm and clarity into the mind-field. Join me in this ease-ful and sweet class and we’ll take this journey together.

“For the senses wander, and when one lets the mind follow them, it carries wisdom away like a windblown ship on the waters.” ~ Bhagavad Gita
